The prices for Ready Silver was unchanged yesterday at 19). The Forward rate dropped 1/16 to 19 Silver advices reported India AS having operated both ways. China sold. After the official fixing a small business was done at the fixed rate. The market was idle. In America the rate Was quoted at 444 for Spot.

The London/New York cross- rate was quoted at 4.97). The New York/London rate was quoted at the same rate.

Dull. Rates were a shade easier than yesterday.

STERLING

A small business was arranged during the course of the morning at 1/3 for July delivery. The market closed at 1 pm, with sell- ers at 1/33 for March/June and 1/3 11/16 Ju'y/August, buyers at 1/18 higher respectively.
