As a result of their victory over the Royal Navy eleven on Saturday, the Kowloon Cricket Club are in an interey- Ing position" for frut division honours in the ocal cricket league. The K.C.C. and the Indian Recreation Cub have each one more match to complete the season's fixtures, and everything now de- pends on the result of those two games. A victory for the LR ̊C. against the University side wil assure the former of the League Shield, but a defeat will leave matters lemporarly in abeyance. providing of coure K. C. C. win their last match. In that case, the two elevens will finish up with 16 points each, and a replay will have to take pace,
In the only two second division league encounters, the Kow- loon C. C. Juniors drew with the Royal Navy after having decid- edly the better of matters, while the Club de Recrelo were nar rowly defeated by the Royal Engineers.

St. Joseph's College followed up their success of a week ago by holding the redoubtable S. China "B" to a draw of two goals all in their senior game played on the Railway ground yesterday. Their performance was the more creditable In view of the fact that they had the better of the exchanges but bad luck robbed them of their fruits of victory.
Football during the week-end was as interesting as it was thrilling. Royal Ulster Rifles after more than holding their own against the Athletic went down Oghting by the only goal scored while Navy was also unlucky to have lost to the Fusiliers by two clear goals. A feature of this game was the deplorable weakness of the sailors when presented with opportunities in front of road. On Saturday S. China “A” was decidedly lucky to have got away with both points, as Recreio after a very promising start was somewhat unlucky not to have at least shared the points. Teo Wat Tong's return to the Chinese fold added life and zest to the whole team.
Kowloon won unexpectedly from E. Lancs, and the Club beat the Lreemun Gunners by four goals to one, while in the match hetween Police and the Stonecutters Gunners, the latter falled to put in an appearance
