BRITAIN NEGOTIATING TRADE AGREEMENTS

Longon. Feb, 26. Parliamentary question to the President of the Board of Trade ellcited the information that com- mercial negotiations were taking place with Peru and arrangements were being made for further dis- cussions with Denmark. The Gov- ernment, following their declared policy, had under constant review the possibility of negotiating trade agreements with foreign countries. Informal exchange of views with the United States had taken place with the object of ascertaining whether a basis existed for nego- tiation. These bad so far been only of an exploratory nature.-- British Wireteso.
