Well over five hundred people, many of whom were forced to stand throughout the meeting, crowded into the Roof Garden of the Hong Kong flotel yesterday, to hear Mrs, Margaret, Sanger, Internationally known advocate of birth control, give an interest- Ing and Bluminailve talk on birth control. She expounded her reasons for its world wide exceptance, and cited many instances of its beneficial effect on the health of all who had accepted its principles.

Last night at Government House Sir Frederick Leith-Rose interviewed local press Representatives, and ans wered many questions which are of considerable interest for the public to kuow. He is leaving to-day for Canton and is returning to Shanghai by the Empress boat next Wednesday. At Canton he will wment officials, bankers, truders and business men and will discuss with them the financial and economic position of the Kwangtang province.
Sir Frederick maintained that a unified China with a properly managed currency is all to the good, and at present the export trade of China is improving, the lance of trade is steady and there exists to-day no adverse balance. If the Government is unstable then there is every chance of a deficit.
