Second Triumph In Speed Skating Race

("Hong Kong Daily Press" Special)

Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Feb. 14.

The third gold medal was won by the Norwegian athlete Hallangrud (who created an Olympic record in the 5,000 metres speed skuding on Wednesday) in the 10,000 metres speed skating race that began on Friday on Lake Riesser, the winner covering' the distance in the record time of 17 minutes 24.3 seconds.

The second place was secured by Vasenius (Finland) in 17 minutes 28.2 seconds. Stiepi (Austria) was third in 17 minutes 30.6 seconds.
