Council Of State Established

While His Majesty's condition remains unchanged, the latest bulletin issued indicates that the King is not suffering from pain. His Majesty's illness is described to be in a static condition.

The Privy Council met at Sandringham for the purpose of establishing a Council of State to act during His Majesty's sick- ness as has been done in 1928-29. The King was propped up in bed when the meeting was held, and signed the necessary docu. ¿ ments as presented to him by Lord Dawson af Penn,

The Prince of Wales and Duke of York have returned to Sandringham, while Her Majesty the Queen spent most of her time at the bedside of the King.
