Cairo, Dec. 14
The Egyptian Students' Com- mittee of Management decided to conunue the struggle in the same form as heretofore until England dedures her willingness to enter into negotiations with the coming constitutional Egyptian Govern, ment concerning the conclusion of the Anglo-Egyptian Treaty on the basis of the agreement between Nahas Pasha and the late Mr. Arthur Henderson in 1930.
The leader of the Ward Party. Nahas Pasha, addressing a meet- ing of followers on Friday night, took the same lire, stating, that the Egyptian nation would con- tinue fighting until their goal was reached.
Nahas Pasha at the same time formulated a demand that the Government should forthwith promulgate a deerec fixing a date for the new elections. Transocean Kuo Min

Cairo, December 14 For the Arst time since the riots began on November 12, the Ward leader, Nahas Pasha called on Premier Nessim Pasha and con- gratulated him on the restoration of the constitution, saying "let me embrace you," whereupon he kiss ed Nessin Pasha.
It is understood that Nahas Pasha pressed for early election of the Cabinet The next step probably will be promulgation of the electional law based on univer- sa direct suffrage.
Numerous women students par- ticipated in to-day's demonstra- tion. There have been two cases of altack on Britishers, one who was assaulted by robels WILS rescued by students.

WARNING AGAINST
OPTIMISM
· London, Dec. 14. The suspension of final judgment until Mr. Stanley Baldwin explains what he had in mind when he said that the criticism of the Opposi~ tion would cease if he were tree to speak, is urged by the "Dally Telegraph" in a leader on the Franco-British proposals.
an
The Journal adds that should | the truth be that the Government became convinced that Italy was treating the embarge on oil as a military sanction and found farther enquiry that the other members of the League were not prepared to contribute under Ar- ticle XVI of the League to the "armed forces needed to protect the Covenant of the League," but meant to leave Great Britain to bear the entire brunt of any con- Act that ensued, the country ought to be placed as plainly as possible in possession of the facts.
GREAT INDIGNATION The "Morning Post" declares that the plan is certain to cut certain "monstrous canties"
Our of Ethiopia for the benefit of Italy, and there is a great deal of conse- quential indignation, which the propitiary speeches of Mr. Eden and M. Laval at Geneva have not altogether allayed.
The "Dally Herald" says that the pretence that the cessions to Italy are merely part of an exchange of territory is dishonest and disin- genuous. The plan is a scheme for the territorial and economie plun- der of a victim of deliberate and calculated aggression,
WORLD REACTION The text of the Anglo-French peace plan loosed a flood of com- ment throughout the world to-day, A New York message says that the majority of the papers rejoice at the apparent demise of the plan at Geneva.
The "Eerald Tribune" comments: "A cynic may be struck by the curious exactitude with which the non-Italian portion of Ethiopla would be reduced to Lake Tsana and the basin and watershed of the Nile tributaries,'
The "New York Times" declares that millions in America and Europe are now saying: "This will never do."
A Delhi message states that both the Indian and anglo-Indian press is united in condemning the plan The "Statesman" says that the proposals are already dead. The Negus and the whole world will not have them.- Router.
