Upsets And Thrills Galore
Upsets were the order of the day in the Shield Soccer games during the week-end; no less than three out of the five senior games ended in draws, in two instances after axtra time had to be played.
Yesterday South China "A" the potential Champions casily defeated the China Athletic to the tune of four goals to one... The .... Kowloon surprised many critics by their win over the strong Fusiliers team whom they beat by the odd goal in five, while the St. Joseph's-Recreio and Gish-East Lancs, games alső ended in draws.

True Blue Registers Another Victory

Mr. H. 8. Rouse repeated his success of last week when he sail- ed True Blue to victory in the race for "A" CiRss yachts at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club regetta on Saturday. The race was over 1 distance of 9.4 miles, Artemis (Mr. a. Wood) being second and Gull (Mr. B. Nuess) third.
Only three yachts started in the "Q" Class race when Sirius (Mr. H. M. Finlay) anished in front of Toynette (Capt. W. J. Fennell) and Eunice (Mr, E. 8. O. Dumlup). Widgeon (Col Bilderbeck) 'was Arst in the "T" and "Y" Classes event, while Ariel Mr. J. A. Kems- ley) won the "E" Class event.

Bright knocks featured last Saturday's League Cricket Games. The Indians continued in their winning vein by beating the Royal Navy by 48 rans. A. H. Madar was in the top of his form and scored 89 runs when the innings was declared closed. Mint and Pereira helped along with their deadly bowling. The Navy lads could not do more than score 129 runs. Lt. Branwell scored 62 of the total.
The other senior game between Army and the Club ended in » a draw. Alec Pearce carried his hat for 107. R. D, Gillespie helped along with 52.

The Army replied with 127 for 7. Major Bonavia was un- defeated with 55. Bad Ught put a stop to the game. 'Three junior league games were also decided.
