There were sellers after The opening at 1/3 13/16, buyers bid- ding 1/8 15/16, at which rate, a small business was arranged for November delivery followed by transactions at 1/6_1/16, 1/61.1/8. 3/16, 1/8 and 1/5 5/16 for November delivery. The market then re-acted slightly and offers at 1/6 3/16 were accepted for November, 1/8 1/16 was done for December and 1/53 for January. Towards the close a small busi- ness was done at 1/6 for Novem- ber and 1/6, for December. The market closed with sellers at 1/51 for November, 1/6 for' December and 1/5 13/18 for January, buyers at 1/18 higher respectively. "
