Three persons have been killed and upwards of 150-including 45 policemen were injured in the course of a violent scuffle between the police and a bestile crowd daring the early hours of Thursday morning. The crowd bombarded the police with stones and bottles, whereupon the police, after firing several shots in the air, made a baton charge.
