The action revolves about the

of
Lous and shows France absolutay in its worst with the Intrigue that was prevalent about this time. Through it all, runs Riche lieu's passionate love of Country which comes before everything, the King, the people and even his Immediate chief, the Pope.
Maureen O'Sullivan and Cesar Romero are the stellar leads and provide just that bit of lightness Lo a picture that would otherwise have been rather too heavy.
In addition to those already mentioned, special note must be
fine acting of Ed made of the ward Arnold as the King, Francis Lister and Douglas Dumbrille.

The ceremony that day was departure in some respects from similar ceremonies of the past. the past it was always customary to pay this tribute to the Lord Provost after his civic death. He was one of those who believed that a man should be honoured during his life, and in this case during his term of office.
Lord Provost Swan had been a magnificent and inspired leader, and during a time of unexampled distress he had never lost faith and hope in his city. He had courage and enterprise to preach optimism to the pessimists and make them feel that thetry was not only the second city in the Empire but the Arst city for courage, fortitude, and endurance in times of stress.
TO CONTINUE EFFORTS For that reason he felt that the honouring of Sir Alexander Swan
should not be postponed until he had retired, when people were so keen in "making friends with the new Lord Provost that they were apt to forget about the old.
The birth of the quadruplets was superintended by Dr. Amy Fleming, Professor of Obstetrics at the hospital, and assisting her was Dr. Constantine, with two sisters and three staff nurses.
TWO THORNY SUBJECTS These were two thorny subjects which had livened the meeting of the Corporation, and he thought it was well that it should have been 'su. They would never get any where as an administration unless they had a strong opposition. The stronger the opposition they had in a body such as theirs the net ter would be the administration in the end. They would find that
