The King yesterday paid 'high tribute to the spirit and gallan- try of the Navy, the "splendid achievements" of the Army and the "distinguished record of the Royal Air Force, during his reign.

He was replying to loyal message of congratulation from the heads of the three Services. In his message to the Navy the King said:
