IN SHANGHAI

"RED PILL' ” FACTORY BLOWN TO SMITHEREENS

Thirty Seven Believed To Be Killed

The sixth "Red Pill" factory ex- plosion in the Settlement during the last three months occurred this morning in the outskirts of the Central business district.

The terrifc force of the ex- plosion shook the environs for at least a quarter of a mile, while the building Itself was blown to smithereens.

A slight fire which developed after the occurrence was quickly subdued, but workers are still digging after five hours through masses of debris. Sq far seven bodies have been recovered.

JUBILEE

Programme Almost Complete

London, February 8.

The programme for the King's Silver Jubilee celebrations is almost complete..
