Mischievous, gay, spectacular and glamorous, is RKO-Radio's musical comedy,

"The Gay Divorcee" affording amusement for local theatregoers. It is a high-speed entertainment with no time for parking and co-stars Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, the delightful pair who made such a hit in "Flying Down to Rio."

Laurel and Hardy In "Babes In Toyland".

Since childhood days, everyone las heard of the Bogeymen. But how many actually know what these sinister inhabitants of youth's "Inferno" look ilke? Flim- dom's conception can be seen in Hal 'Babes in Toyland," ' the Roach-M-G-M picturization of Victor Herbert's "operetta. With Laurel and Hardy as stars, the the feature-length film is enjoying an extended run at the Queen's Theatre.

ין

The Bogeymen, fearful creatures indeed, are the enemies of those beloved characters of the Mother Goose rhymes and other childhood writings, who move through the Hal Roach opus. One of the most exciting sequences in the picture shows the defeat of these fearful forces by Laurel and Hardy and the inhabitants of the Kingdom of Toyland.

There Is a legend, however, that someone really did find such a treasure on such an island and became, like Dantes, one of the most powerful nien in Europe and the founder of a still flourishing family of wealth.

However this may be, Dantes' fortune may have a possible pre- sent-day counterpart in the twenty-five tons of ancient Peru- vian gold ingots (worth about $50,000,000) reported located in the
