Interesting Report Published By China Association
The China Association's report for the quarter ended Decem. ber 31, 1934 has just been issued and contains much interesting matter. We give below some extracts from the report which rive a concise survey of domestic Affairs in China towards the end of last year.
The contractioh of China's import trade is also shown in in the figures which form part of the Association's report.
SUCCESS OF RED CAMPAIGN

China's domestic affairs during the past quarter has been the suc- cess of the anti-Red campaign in Fukleri and Kiangsi.
In the middle of November it was reported that the headquar- ters of the communists had been transferred to a point near Lung- nanhsten in the extreme south
west of the province and that
Kweichow is doubtful, and an Im- pending attack by the Yunnan armies, at the instigation of Nan- king, is rumoured. Hunan, Klang- si and Fukien, except for the com- murists. are definitely "under the central government."
