Local Players Entertained At Macao
The victorious local Hockey team against Macao were en- tertained to a dinner at the. Hotel Riveira by the Macao Hockey Club on Sunday night. The function, which was the first of the present series, was presided over by Senhor F. Silva, the vice-President of the Macao Municipal Council and a patron of the Macao Hockey Club, and there were about 100 people present.
Senhor Silva apologised in Portug- uese for not being able to make a speech in English and he, therefore asked Lious, da Costa to welcome the guests.
Lieut. da Costa said:
The lacao players played the game, and I shouted for them and will shout at them again. There is no doubt that Hong Kong deserved their win, for the better team won.
