The final race meeting of the season takes place this afternoon, and the principal events on the card is the Hong Kong Autumn Champions. The "fans" will be divided in their support of the three strongest calmants for the honour, vis. Soldier of Bri- tain, Sadko and King's, Justice.

Soldier of Britain ran a wonderful azce in the Hong Kong St. Leger and on the strength of that performance alone, he should find many supporters this afternoon. King's Justice has done some remarkably good work" on the training: track re cently and appears to be at the top of his form. He will not be far from the winner, whatever happens. Sadko won the event last year, and in view of the fact that the pony is to go to the post under ME HL C. Ph; and also because he is very fit, I think he stands the best chance this afternoon,

Hetman is as sound as can be hoped for and with only 153 pounds to look after (as agatrist Cossack's Beauty's 188), he stands a very good chance of winning King's Warden will probably start in this event, in which case he should be able to pick up place money for his con÷ nections

With only 156 pounds to. look: after, Little Beauty should win the last race, of the day fairly com- fortably, unless Holdier of Fortune is held back from-the Champions to try his fortune here, in which case there might be a good race.
