MISS ROMANOFF

(Special Air Mail Service)

London, Nov. 3. Princess Xenia, the daughter of the late Grand Duke George of Russia, who has just received permission from the American courts to style herself "Miss Xenia Romanoff," has not taken a prominent part in New York social affairs for several years.

Since she divorced Mr. William Leeds, the son of the American tinplate millionaire, she has pass- ed most of her time very quietly

on her estate on Long Island.

She told the judge that if she is called "Mrs. Leeds" it leads to confusion, and that she is doubt- ful whether, having married an American, she is legally entitled

to be known as Princess Xenia

Another daughter of the Grand 310.20 Duke George, Princess Nine, is living in New York. She is mer- ried to Prince Paul Chavchavadze, who has a post in the Cunard- White Star offices there,

London Forecast
