R.AS.C. BEAT C.C.C. IN JUNIOR

LEAGUE

On Saturday, the Indian Recreation Club and the Kow- loon Cricket Club senior and juntor elevens met to League matches, both games wert drawn.

A feature of the first division game was the 'all-round dis- play by A. R. Minu, who beside scoring 60 runs at a fast pace. "captured .5 wickets for 17 runs. The K.C.C. were lucky to force a draw, for when sturups wer: drawn they were 120 runs in arrears of the Indian's total with only two wickets in hand.

The Junior match, which also ended in a draw, was play- ed at Sookunpoo, the KCC needed 15 runs to win with two' wickets in hand.

The Royal Army Service Corps heat the Craigenzower at Happy

Valley in the only other Junior Division League encoun-

ter.

Several friendlies were also, played, the Army winning eas- lly against the Cralgengower while the Club. accounted for the Police.

Minu's All-Round Display

SENIOR DIVISION

K.C.C. DRAW WITH LR.C.' On their own ground at King's Park the Kowloon Cricket Club met the Indian Recreation Club in a premier League game, the match resulted in a draw.

A R Minu was in great form. scoring 60 runs and taking 5 win-

kets for 17 runs.

A seventh wicket partnership be- tween A. R. Minu, and M. P. Madar which realised 84 runs, enable the Indians to declare at 179 runs for nine wickets. A. R. Abbas played a good knock for 26 undefeated, while A. H. Madar helped with 29 runs mit took wickels Yor 53 mars.

"Y" LADIES Y. CBA, LADIES In a Cdef, Clark cup competi- tion played on Saturday at the King's Park the "**""" Ladies' and the Central British Association Ladies played a goalless draw. The "Y" Ladies were certainly un- ducky not to have obtained both points as they were playing the better game but missed innumer able chances.

The "Y" Ladies forwards sadiy need shooting practice and were unable to accept passes that came their way.
