Cicely Courtneidge is the star of this admirable mixture, framed for fun and jollity which movea along at a dancing tempo, and right well duca, abe play her role. Her irrisistible foolery, whether 2.9 +4 "cod" French artiste, servant maid. or when she takes part in the rough and tumble of an Apache dance, is undoubtedly the finest work she has yet given us in flins Her vitality is 'amaz- ing in part from burlesque to knockabout, and her personality impresses its stamp on everything she does.

As to the story, that scarcely seems to inatter when Cicely's on the screen, but is concerned with her ingenious mover-say-dià efforta to become a cabaret star.

In support are Sam Hardy, who came, all the way "from America to play his role of a night club king; Hartley Power and Ben Weldon a gangsters; and Billy Milton, Phyllis Clare and Tubby Cipin. Tim Whelan directed.
