"Convention City" at its open ing, sets a fast and furious pace -and that pace never slackens for an Instant. Our first glimpse of the principal, characters re- veals them en route to Atlantic City-the nation's principal locale for salesmen's jamborees. From ther until they straggle to the train once more, at the finish of a week's rolstering, there is action, punch, surprise. Several indivi- dual stores are interwoven to form the main thread of this gay nar- rative-all of them working out to a conclusion against the back- ground of the riotous convention.
Wives might even get a hint as. to what friend husband is doing in the
of pursuing way
wlid women when he is supposedly hard at work organizing his busi ness. For there are almost as many love tangles in the picture as there are conventionists.
