DAILY DOUBLE TO OPERATE FOR FIRST TIME IN MACAO

Delightful Chance And Colombo Fancied

The Macao Jockey Club will be holding an extra menting to- morrow and judging from the entries received, there should bou some good racing.

The Dally Double will be introduced for the first time at Aerla” Preta race course. Chances will be at $2 each. The Dauble will" · be on the second and fifth race, and the combination of Delight- ful Chance and Colombo is likely to prove successful, '

There are six events altogether, the last race on the card be- ing a ladies race.

Racing Pluck Should Win

The main event of the day is the Fat Shan Handicap, for which there are eleven entries. Of these, Racing Pluck has been honoured with top weight, but in spite of this the pony should win. The dis- tance suits him and he will not be running against too strong an opposition. What A Chance, Wil- Ham Osler and Glad Eyes, can put up a good race and I am not sure that Gold Currency with only 158 pounds to carry, is not & very good outsider! If Racing Pluck is beaten, the dividend should be

good.

POLO SCURRY

The opening Race is a polo pony scurry over half a mile and a glance at the entries seem to in- dicate that Capt. J. L. Jordan will have an easy win with Stickypast. The Loafer is a good sprinter also, but half a mille may prove just a shade too long for him. Winches- ter Stag is a good thing for a place and Cloudy Eve for a long shot is a reasonable bet.'

THE FIRST LEG`

There are mine, entries in the second race and top weight has been given by the handicapper to Hell for Leather and The Carp. Neither appeal as a likely winner. I think Delightful Chance (150) is the best thing here and should extend the top weights. Kindo and Soldier of Italy also have a sporting chance of coming in since their weights are not too big.

CAN SAKABANDE WIN? Sarabande will have plenty of opportunity of winning on Sunday as he is running in the Tsin Shan Handicap, (11 Miles) for "D" and "E" Class, at the comfortable weight of 152 pounds. Partnership is entered for this race and the bony, is capable of winning, the more so.since he is just beginning
