The rugger season receives Its official kick off on Saturday when the Hong Kong Football Club will fleld two Fifteens against the Royal Navy. With the memory or stirring matches last season tween the Club and the powerful Navy side, the visit of the Austral lian Universitles team and the Interport against Shanghai, all enthusiasts are eagerly anticipat- ing another successful season.

Both of Baturday's matches will be played on the Club Ground which is a wonderful condition.

London, Sept. 28. Great Britain, defeated Canada by 7 matches to 2, with 3 halved, International match between the two countries yesterday. Britain won the singles by four games to one with three halved, and the foursomes by three to one.

Miss Fishwick played superbly against Miss Mackenzie, the Cana dian open champion, whom she beat by 7 and 5. She lost only one hole the seventh-through miss- ing a putt. She had par figures at all the other outward holes, and Miss Mackenzie was outclassed.

Miss Gourley had a thrilling match with Mrs. Fraser, and won at the last bole, where she negoti- ated a stymie.
