The star of this unusual Colum-Bilver (forward) bla feature is Rex, the wild stallion, heading a band of two thousand wild horses, corrail- ed on the Arizona mesas, with William Janney, Dorothy Appleby. Wallace MacDonald, Ford West and Harry Semels in the support ing cast. in addition to thousands of Navajo and Hop! Indians Earl Haley directed the picture, taken from his own story, adapted by Fred Myton.

In order to film a pleture with such thrilling colour and sction as takes place in "King of the Wild Horses" on the barren mesas of Arizona where the Navajo and Hop! Indians have made their homes since the days of the early clf-dwellers, thousands of dollars had to be spent merely providing transportation for the company of 75 sent from Hollywood for five weeks.

Roads across the desert had to be constructed two weeks before the company arrived by Indian, la. «bourers" and cowhands.
