Interporters Give Exhibition
The absence of W. Lawrence, one of the "star" men in the local interport swimming team. and of Lau Po Hay the outstanding breast stroke swimmer, from the V.R.C. gala on Saturday robbed the func- tion of a good deal of its interest. but nevertheless the remainder of the team made a brave show of it and some good swimming was seen.
In the 50 yards free style, E. H. da Roza, fülfilled expectations when he came home in 26.1 seconds a touch ahead of Paget. Reza got off just before the "Go" but nevertheless his exhibition was a brilliant one.

seven competitors for the Ladies Race, so two events were made of it. In the first race Miss I Lopes won from Miss M. Roza, Miss A.. Gosano and Miss G. Roza, in a close finish. The winner's time was 38 seconds. In the second race Miss D. Hunt. who received-four seconds from Mrs. Mead won by a yard. MLAB G. White also appeared in this event. The winner's time was 35 seconds and Mrs. Mead's time 32.1 secondi.
