Levy's Special Wire Favourables: Reports are pre- yalent of impending important and favourable developments in Washington; good buying by for- eign operators are reported, but the opinion is held that the rally is partly due to the oversold con- dition of the market and also owing to mild revival of inflation- ary psychology.

Unfavourables: Leading staple prices have declined and the mar- kets are easy.

The market is narrowly irregular as the recent advance has attract- ed some pront-taking. However, with sentiment cheerful little more than temporary setbacks are at present anticipated.
