The Rass Institute Industrial. Advisory Committee was formed in 1928, and is now incorporated with the London School of Hy- glene, and Tropical Medicine in the University of London. The Institute spécially deals with the health of the worker in the tro- pics and the supply of scientific information to that end to indus- trial undertakings abroad. At their meetlag in the Council Chamber of the Rubber Growers' Association, with 'Mr. . H. Mase- feld presiding, the malaria con- trol and other sanitary work car- ried out at the copper mines in Northern Rhodesia was reported to have been successful, and Mr. Harrison's work on the site of the Zambesi bridge was said to con- stitute a new record in tropical sanitation. Mr. Harrison also vis sited Nyassaland in connection with the selection of healthy sites for railway stations on the exton- sion of the railway to Domir Bay on Lake Nyassa.
