A little more interest was shown in the market in the afternoon.
Sterling
Sterling continued to be inquir- ed for at 3/8 31/32 for cash and eventually came to business at that rate. Dollars were also the medium of business at 37 for July. The market closed with Sterling sellers at 1/5 15/18, possibly 1/5 31/32 for £ late delivery this month, cash buyers at 1/5 31/32. August buyers 1/6. Dollars, 37 11/18 sellers July, 343 August. July buyers 371, August buyers 37 13/16.
