·Silver prices yesterday were 19 15/16 for both deliveries, rates being 5/16 and 1/4 up for Ready and Forward respectively. «Beside the usual American support, India was also a purchaser but the busi- ness done was small. The, market finished quiet at the prices fixed little vinder and apparently a quotations was available. In New York the rate was 1/4 up at 451 and the market steady.
