The A. O. F. Carp., has received the following report from their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierce & Co. We think there was support today on a somewhat beavier scale than earlier in the week and the chance of a rally early next week seems to be rather fair.
Wheat: Market highly erratic. Prices are tending lower on a forecast of rain, rather general showers Laing predicted in the drought area, except- ing the Northern and Western points of the Spring Wheat Area.
Cotton: Profit-taking and scattered selling met with a slack demand. The weather continues favourable."
Silver. There has been continued buying of May contracts by the same unknown buyer but the general inclination is to await Washington news. The Senate bas passed the amended Stock Market Bill, which now" goes to the House. ...
