With reference to a statement recently made in the House of Commons regarding China's ar- rears of interest on British-held rallway bonds, the, Ministry of statement Railway furnishes which is of value as indicating the Government's intention to reduce the existing indebtedness as far as practical in the circumstances pre- vailing.
