Wheat: There has been a temporary subsidence of May liquidation but there is apt to be a renewal as dálivery day approaches and this caus. ed nervousness and curtailed support early in the day. Local tuyara' evened up towards the close.

Cotton: The decline was due more to lack of buying than to any ag- gressive pressure. A feature was the persistent off-take for the Trade and by brokera with Far Eastern connections.
