Before the opening, opinion appeared to be more or less general that the market might have a gell-off, but there was no fresh nowa of a general character. In this situation, we will probably continue to have a mixed market, but, altogether, we like the action of the whole list.

Wheat: A feature was the liquidation of May contracta. Traders were disturbed by prospective adverse grain legislation and the enforce-": ment of the Wheat Code.

Cotton: There was a fair demand on the scale-down. The Bankhead “Bill is restricting commitmentă cu either side.
