Asia Landa, Limited, has received the following report from their New York correspondente, E, A. Pierce & Co. We think the market continues to give a satisfactory account of itself though the volume did not greatly increase. We believe that a few days of continued firmness would have material effect on the general sentiment.

Wheat: The market fluctuated erratically within a range of pne cent, averaging somewhat lower. Private estimates of American Winter wheat averaged 510,000,000 bushels, which was about as expected and which is construed bearish.

Cotton: Last week's buyers and old longs liquidated moderately, while there was some foreign selling of near deliveries.

Silver: Firm, reflecting the Washington news that the Silver Bloe weald make a drive this week for remonetisation.
