Aria Landa, Limited, has received the following report from their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierce & Co. We cannot see that the market has essentially changed and conditions, for the moment, appear to offer but little encouragement to anyone who wants to take a positive position.
Wheat: The new Code Bill is curtailing short selling, but licensing of commission houses together with moisture in the South-West caused. renewed liquidation. Statistics are moderately bullish.
Cotton; Southern selling and scattered liquidation was absorbed by broad Trade and Japanese demand.
Silver: Prices moved within a narrow range and the market was featureless July and September contracts were exchanged at a difference of 35 points.
