Brilliant Opening Promised
the
The dress rehearsal of Amateur Dramatic Clubs latest production took place last night at the Royal Naval Canteen Theatre and gave promise of a brilliant "Premiere" to-night.
A number of service, men were privileged to be present as well as various people connected with theatrical matters; and one "and all agreed that it was a very one performance.
The play is most exciting and the interest never flags-the audience were held tense and enthralled until the final curtain fell. The caste is particularly well chosen and the whole performance shows that Anish and polish which we have learned to expect from the ADC.
The theatre too, is very well arranged and easily accessible by train or rickshaw and is going to prove a great asset to our local amateurs.
Such a thrilling play is bound to attract good houses and we strongly advise our readers to book carly.
The price of seats is moderate $4 for dress circle (of which there are only a limited number) and $3 and $2 for stalls.
One great advantage of this new theatre 13 the fact that one can see and hear perfectly from every seat in the house.
We confidently predict a great success for all the players in "Ten Minute Alibi."
