-Axia Landa, Limited, has received the following report from their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierce & Co. It seems that the course of the market since the end of last week tas demonstrated that the irregularity was not fundamental and was simply a temporary break. So long as general business news continues favourable, with principal business indices showing increased activity, we think that the buying side is relatively safe. Wheat: Market dull. The strength of securities and cotton helped by European political news restrains pressure, although the Liverpool market was not disturbed.

Cotten: The rally attracted Southern selling and there was quite a bit of realising. There was some uneasiness due to delay in the passage of the Bankhead Measure.

Silver: The general undertone was steady in sympathy with the stocks market and on continued talk of remonetisation possibilities. The banks were big sellers.

Business Done: 2,880,000 shares.
