The funeral took place yester- day of Mrs. Margaret Goggin, widow of the late Captain Gog-| gin, and mother of Mr. W. G. Goggin of the Bank Line, who is jat present at Home on leave.

Mrs. Goggin was probably the oldest European resident in, the Colony as she was 93 years of age. She had been in the Colony for over 50 years and her last trip Home was almost thirty-five years
