The Harbour Master has issued a warning to shipping. to the effect that the Master of the s.. President Jefferson reported hav- ing sighted a dismasted wooden sloop, while he was on his voyage to this part.

The position ot the derellet, which is considered to be a dan- ger to navigation as well as to ships on regular track between Hong Kong and Manila, is given as Lat. 18 deg. 05 min. North and Long. 117 deg. 43 min. East,
