YUNNANFU NOTES
After two delays the pioneering zeroplane of the China, National Aviation Corporation was able to leave Yunnanfu on January 28th for Chungking. The first delay was caused by a forced landing in Indo-China because of heavy tog and the conscquent waiting for negotiations to have the plane released. This caused a delay of about ten days. The arrival of the plane here coincided with an unusually cold snap which resulted in foggy, poor flying-weather and held the plane here for six days.
It is reported that the trip to
Chungking occupied only three and a half hours. The ordinary methods of travel require about
1 month.
