LARGE ATTENDANCE AT ANNUAL REUNION ON SATURDAY
Dr. Kotewall's Happy Speech
The past pupils of Diocesan Boys' School met at a re-union. dinner held on Saturday night at Lane Crawford's restaurant when there was an attendance of over 110.
Mr. J. M. Wong took the chair and there were present, Sir Henry Pollock, the Hon. Mr. R.H. Kotewall; Mr. H. B. L Dow- biggin, The Very Rev. Dean Swann, Rev. W. W, Rogers and Pro- Iessor, L. Forster.
A very pleasant and enjoyable concert followed the dinner, the contributors being Messrs. R. H. Waller, Chan Tak Hurig, Kan Yee Ming. Kan Yeg Kit, and Kan Yee Lim.

I am, here this evening in the rather unusual role of a guest who his dinner (laughter). Some days ago I received a cordial invitation from the Association to this dinner, and without thinking much of the matter, as I was just- going on a short holiday. I ac- cepted. A few days ago I met our keen and energetic Secretary, Willie Zimmern, and I told him that as I was myself a member of the Association, I should like to be permitted to pay my share of the dinner. You see, gentlemer. I am very jealous of the privilege and right of my membership. in the Association, and would yield it to even the temptation of Wille a free meal. (Laughter) Zimmern, in the true spirit of a is such "D.B.-sonian-if there a name-understood the feeling. and look my 81.50. Applause). I hope that this spirit which ac- tuated Willie Zimmern to do what he did pervades the whole Asso- clalion, in which, in these days, we take such a pride.
