Wheat: Market quiet but steady. Market news is without any fex- ture and, in the absence of pressure, prices slowly edged up.
Cotton: The favourable attitude towards the Hankhead Bill is partly responsible for the better tone. The steadiness of prices in the face of recent selling seems to encourage the reinstatement of a long position.
Silver: Markas generally quiet, but prices tended to go higher on the better Sterling exchange and further bank support. Speaker Hainey stated that it was likely there would be no legislation on stock exchanged at this session of Congress.
