Azia Landa, Limited, has received the following report form their New York correspondents, È A. Pierce & Co. There was some degree of resist- ance on the market today, which was quite pronounced at the final hour. It has not been plainly indicated, however, that selling has ended. Steel industry operations were 34.2 per cent of capacity, which is up 2.7 from last week's figures.

Wheat! There was some income-tax liquidation and a Government agency bought for cash in Kansas City and Minneapolis. Exports weTG

· small and receipts were light.

Cotton: The higher gold price has encouraged a slight improvement. in speculative and foreign demand. The rally attracted selling in the form of liquidation and bedge selling became more noticeable.

"

Silver: The higher opening on speculative buying is attributed to the increase in the price of gold. Prices eased after the opening. Small offerings continue to be plentiful but are not being thrown on the market, Business Done: 1,340,000 shares.
