Asia Landa, Limited, has received the following report form their New York correspondents, E. A. Pierce & Co. It is dificult to say whether the quiet strength shown today means anything in particular. We continue to believe, however, that the market is going through a slow process of accumulation.

Wheat: The advancing gold price and the higher Liverpool and Argentine wheat marketa were strengthening influences. There was very little pressure, while exports were fair,

Cotton: The higher Sterling exchange instigated renewed specula tive buying, which was later off-set by Southern selling. At the closing, the tone was steady. 15

Silver: Market firm. Prices were higher at the opening. Switching from December into March and May was very active. At the the close the market was somewhat reactionary on profit-taking and on evening-up- before the holiday.

Business Done: 750,000 shares.
