The weakness of French Francs and Dutch Guilders was pronounced today. The market did not appear to be influenced by the relative firinness of grains. We wonder whether the weakness of European gold currencies may not be exercising temporarily more influence than domestic commodities. Liquidation seemed still to continue, with stocks that being forced on the market.
