OBSTRUCTION AT KOWLOON WHARVES

Sampan Women Fined

Li Tsun, Yip Fuk, Chan Kan, Ip Tai. Leung Sde Min, Lai" Tai and Leung Ping, all mistresses of boats were fined $5 each by Commander Newill at the Marine Court yester- day for causing obstruction by mooring their boats alongside No. 4 Kowloon Godown Wharf,

It was stated that the defendants had taken their sampang around. the wharf, making it difficult for an incoming ships to get along- side.

When the Vesel eventually got alongside, the sampans again caus-

ed an obstruction and a "Govern- ment and Post Office launch could

only get in after some delay.
