Heavy buying orders both from local sources and London improved the Peunten quotation from .89 to cents at which there are further buyers. Kinta Tin Dredges had a considerable number of transactions from 81.22, to 81.27. Kuchnia were taken from 171 to 73 cents, Batu Cares 52 to .54 cents, Sung Zus at $1,00, Tong Kah Harbours $1.17, Nai-ong Petx 47 cents Sun ge; Ways $2,00, Johans .181 to 17 cents and Petalings came to business At 95.70. Malaya Consolidatedx appear to have two market prices at present, buyers bidding 2 cents for small parcels, whilst 30 cents is indicated for blocks of shares. Early in the work; Hongkong Tine were marketed at 13/-, but shares could now be placed at 14/3, and business was connected in Kamunt inge at 10/- and later at 10/11. Puchongs sold to Australia at 8/9, and as previously mentioned Ranba are now $7.35 Middle cum, dividend, RUBBERS:
Bullar Rubbers were idle during the week, the only business recorded being in Kuala Sidime at 81.28 and Brogas at 35 cents. Sellers are now in evidenes of practically all $11.40 listed shares.

The short session did not give much opportunity to discover any particular change in conditions. However, the market does seem to be somewhat more bullish in.opinion on the immediate course.
When: Bullish sentiment is pre-dominant on further talk of infa tion based on a Washington report to the effect that the Administrațion is determined to boost prices of agricultural commodities to pre-war prices. Cotton: Sentiment is somewhat better. Offerings were light and rather easily absorbed.
Silver: There was a good speculative demand, almost wholly for
December and March. *
