As announced some time ago, the Perpetual Trust Co. are putting up A seven storey building in Chatham Road, Kowloon, and when this is ready, it will be one of the most up-to-date residential blocks in the Colony, I will be known as the Malaguna Mansions and will con sist of 112 flats. To those people who feel that they may not be resident in the Colony for so lengthy a period as

out that the share which they will hold will have a definite collateral value increasing from year to year. The land has been put in at a price which is considerably less than the valuation of Hongkong's

leading firm of Architects and Valuers. The building will cost approximately $800,000 and will contain every modern convenience. The scheme has been sponsored by prominent local business men and with such a name as Sir Ro bert Ho Tung at the head of the Directors, and the support of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation who have agreed to provide the necessary finance at a low rate of interest, should com- mend itself to even the most wary investor."
