Indian Child Welfare Clinic
OFFICIALLY OPENED BY MRS. BORRETT
The Indian Families Child Welfare and Anti-natal Clinie was formally opened by Mrs. Borrett, wife of H.E. the General Officer Commanding yesterday, when a large gathering were present to inspect the building in Jordan
Rond.
The military community were there in full force and during the afternoon a 'dress parade" and à boys' race were held for the benefit of those present. Tea and re freshments were served in the marquees specially put up for that purpose.
COLONEL THOM'S APPEAL FOR HELPERS
In asking Mrs. Borrett to declare the premises open, Col Thom,

"HAPPY EVER AFTER"
Bevy Of British Stars
"Happy Ever After" is notable from the fact that it is the first picture to be made under the Ufa-Gaumont- British arrangetaent. Lilian Harvey, Jach Halbert. Cicely Courtneidge. Sonnis Hale, Edward Chapaian, Percy Parsons, Clifford Heatherley and Charles Redgie, are the British artists who so ably interpret the fantastic story, told in bright and airy style. Paul Martin directed the picture and Eric Pommer supervised.
Humour, punctuating the disap pointments and minor tragedies of life, is the key note of "Happy Ever After". It is a story of quite ordinary people treated from a rather fantastic angle, the whole forming a delightful pot pourri. Humour gives the drab surroundings and circumstances anus- ing twists and there is an undercur rent of merriment, The picture is rich in suspense values and the de- nouenient is distinctly surprising. "Happy Ever After" is brilliantly directed, the Fantasy attractively developed, affording excellent enter tainment.
