Berlin. Some 18,000 Germans from all walks of life are being held in the political concentration camps in various parts of the country.
Wilhem Frick, Prussian minis ter of the interior, explained that they will be kept there until they become "fit citizens," reconciled. if not converted, to the Nazi regime of Adolf Hitler.
Most of the 18,000 are, socialista or communista. Of all ages and classes, they are kept on a strict routine of exercise and, work.

Carmers was more cautious in the second round. He was push- ing out a left ead. smothering Sharkey, who manoeuvred round the giant and finally landed a ter rif right to, the jaw which sent Carnern staggering against the ropes. Sharkey tried to follow-up but his efforts were smothered by the Italian.
Vicious Rights. -*
In the third round, it was Shar key's turn to be cautious. feinting and bobbing and smiling derisive- ly as Carnern failed the air with wild swings. Sharkey drove in sou vicious rights to the head and lefts to the body while keeping up his dancing display, keeping Car Bera more or less on the defensive. In the fourth, Sharkey slipped under Carnera's long left and pumped in a quick volley of body blows and got away unseatched. Prinic seemed to get angry, and missed badly in his efforts to con- "nect heavy blows.
He took several lefts to the head and then replied by grabbing Sharkey's left hand and drawing him towards him and, at the same time, striking him on the head. He was waned by the referee for this incident..
Warned Again.'
Sharkey, sniped cautionsly in the fifth round, trying to bring down the giant Italian's guard." Car- nera was again warned for bear like tactics. Sharkey, then show: ed signs of renewed activity and drove Carnera round the ring be fore a barrage of smashing blows, including a terrible right to the temple which caused Carnera to wobble like a chimney and retreat Ito his corner as the bell sounded.
In the sixth and last-round, the champion started by crouching Tow and teasing the giant by stab- bing blows to the face, followed by a vicious hook to the body.
